Biography
Born in 1928, Novoivanivka (Poltava region). Painter. People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1979). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1971). Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2001). Member of the National Union of Artists (1960). He graduated from the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv Republican Art School (1948) and the Kyiv State Art Institute (1955). Teachers in the specialty: O. Shovkunenko, V. Puzyrkov. Participant of exhibitions since 1956. He was awarded the Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR and a medal.
