Biography
Born in 1903, Kovrov (Vladimir region, russia). Graphic artist, painter, teacher. Member of the USSR Union of Artists, Association of Artists of the Revolution (1928-1931), Russian Association of Proletarian Artists (1931). He won the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition in Paris (1937). He studied at the Petrograd Higher Art and Technical Workshops (1922-1930). Teachers in the specialty: I. Rabinovich, N. Shestakova. He taught at the Moscow Higher School of Art and Industry (since 1952), professor (since 1961). Participant of exhibitions since 1929.
