Biography
Born in 1931 in Rivne. Graphic artist, painter. People’s Artist of Bielarus (1997). He was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples (1986), the Gold Medal named after M. Hrekov (1990). He graduated from the Minsk Art School (1955), his teachers were V. Volkov, P. Romanovsky, and K. Kosmachov. Graduated from the Bielarusian Theater and Art Institute (1961), where he taught (1962-1965). Lecturer at the Bielarusian Polytechnic Institute (1965-1968), head of the graphic workshop of the state cultural institution “Creative Graphic Workshops” of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bielarus (since 1988).
