Each color has its own mood. But to feel its effect, you need to be surrounded by it. For example, you need to get inside a room filled with artworks made in the same color pallet. In such a situation, this exact color adjusts your perception and, as a result, your personality.

You can experience this effect for yourself by visiting our “apARTment” gallery. On August 13, at 4.00 p.m., the exhibition “All shades: Yellow” will be opened in our museum. This is the another exhibition that we have prepared for our visitors during the “Year of the color” celebration.

Yellow is the second primary color (red, yellow, blue). One of the 7 colors of the chromatic palette of colors. It is very warm and joyful color. We invite you to fill your inner world with sunny yellow color this summer.

2020 is the “Year of the color” in our “apARTment” gallery. The cycle of exhibitions, dedicated to the 6 different colors and their shades, demonstrates the properties of colors and the diversity of the collection of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Art Museum collection. Within the exhibition “All shades… Yellow” we explore ways of using yellow in the decorative and applied art, graphics and painting. We invite all our visitors to join us and immerse themselves in the art world of famous Ukrainian artists.
