Biography
Born in 1943, Pervomaisk (Mykolaiv region). Painter. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2007). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize of Ukraine (1994). Laureate of the Golden Trident Prize of the International Festival “Ukrainian World” (1997). Member of the National Union of Artists (1970), member of the National Association of Artists (1993). Graduated from the Odesa State Art School named after M. Hrekov (1962). Teachers in the specialty: O. Atsmanchuk, T. Yehorova. He worked at the Odesa Art Fund (1965-1971). Participant of exhibitions since 1966.
