Biography
Born in 1921, Verkhniodniprovsk (Dnipro region). Painter. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2004). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1977). Member of the National Union of Artists (1956). Participant of the Second World War. He studied at the Dnipro Art School (1938-1939). Graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (1952). Teachers in the specialty: K. Trokhymenko, V. Kostetskyi. Participant of exhibitions since 1951. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star (1944) and the Order of Friendship of Peoples (1986).
