Biography
Born in 1917, Ozeriany (Chernihiv region). Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists (1950). People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1989), Russian Federation (2003). Participant of the Second World War. Graduated from the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1950), studio of B. Johanson, M. Bernshtein. He taught at the Crimean Art School named after M. Samokysh (1950-1952). Since 1952 – at creative work. Participant of exhibitions since 1950. He was awarded the Orders of the Patriotic War of the II degree, “Badge of Honor”, “For Merit” III degree (2007) and medals.
