Biography
Born in 1938 in the village of Lutina (Slovakia). The artist of glass and ceramics. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2002). Honored Artist of Ukraine (1983). Professor of the Department of Art Glass at the Lviv National Academy of Arts. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1971). Graduated from Lviv School of Applied Arts named after I. Trush (1963), Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1971). Teachers in the specialty: R. Selskyi, K. Zvirynskyi, D. Krvavych, I. Tomchuk. He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1986). Chief artist of the Lviv Experimental Ceramic and Sculpture Factory (1974-1996).
