Biography
Born in 1935, Pidvolochysk (Ternopil region). Ceramist, painter. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1988). Member of the National Union of Artists (1970). He was awarded a diploma of the International Contest of Ceramists (Italy, 1974). He graduated from the Lviv School of Applied Arts named after I. Trush (1959) and the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1965). Teachers in the specialty: R. Selskyi, K. Zvirynskyi, T. Porozhniak. He taught at the Department of Art Ceramics of this institute (1965-1976). Participant of exhibitions since 1966.
