Biography
Born in 1919, Kyiv. Painter. People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1963). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1951). Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR (1948, 1950). Participant of the Second World War. He was awarded state awards of the USSR. Graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (1946). Teachers in the specialty: K. Trokhymenko, M. Yarovyi. He taught at this institute (since 1948), professor (1962). Participant of exhibitions since 1945.
