Biography
Born in 1929, Kaunas (Lithuania). Graphic artist. People’s Artist of the Lithuanian SSR (1977). Honored Artist of the Lithuanian SSR (1968). Laureate of the State Prize of the Lithuanian SSR (1965), the USSR (1976). He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor and a bronze medal at the International Exhibition of Book Art (Leipzig, 1962). Graduated from the Vilnius State Art Institute (1958), a lecturer at the Institute (since 1961).
