Biography
Born in 1877 in Berezhany. Graphic artist, painter, master of decorative and applied arts, teacher. People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1956). Member of the Ukrainian Union of Artists (1940). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko Republican Prize of the Ukrainian SSR (1967). She studied at the Lviv studio of Batovskyi-Bratkovskyi (1901-1903); Vienna Art and Industrial School (1903-1908). She taught at secondary schools in Lviv and Przemyśl (1908-1938); at the Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute named after I. Fedorov (1945-1951), professor since 1948).
