Biography
Born in 1882, Tobolsk (russia). Painter, graphic artist. Member of associations: “Union of Youth, World of Art, Moscow Painters, Four Arts, New Society of Artists, Moscow Society of Art Lovers, Group of Artists, and Society of Mobile Art Exhibitions. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1898-1904). Teachers in the specialty: S. Korovin, V. Baksheiev, S. Ivanov. In the Academy of Arts (until 1913) and in the studio of F. Rubo in the studio of M. Samokysh. He taught drawing at the Petrograd Higher Art and Technical Workshops (1924-1929), the Academy of Arts (1933-1935), and the Moscow State Art Institute named after V. Surikov (1935-1941). Professor. Participant of exhibitions since 1909.
