Biography
Born in 1948, Kushchevsky State Farm (Krasnodar Territory, russia). Painter, graphic artist, monumentalist, sculptor. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2008). Member of the National Union of Artists (1987). Member of the National Association of Artists (1993). Laureate of the Republican Prize named after M. Ostrovsky (1989); Regional Prize named after Taras Shevchenko (1993), Rozvadovsky (1995), Halchevsky (2003). He was awarded the First Prize of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR for the design of a children’s motor city in Khmelnytskyi (1987). He was awarded the Order of Merit III degree (2007). Graduated from the Odesa State Art School named after M. Hrekov (1968). His specialty teacher is V. Puteiiko. He taught at the Khmelnytskyi National University. Participant of exhibitions since 1972.
