Biography
Born in 1926, Chornyi Ostriv (Lviv region). Painter. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2006). Honored Artist of Ukraine (1996). Member of the National Union of Artists (1954). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize of Ukraine (1999). Graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1953). Teachers in the specialty: R. Selskyi, M. Fediuk, Y. Bokshai. Participant of exhibitions since 1956.
