INFORESISTANCE
Exhibition of information stands of the CHESNO movement
14 April 2023 - 28 May 2023

On April 14, at 12.00, the opening of the exhibition “InfoResistance” will take place in front of the Khmelnytsky Regional Art Museum.

From the exhibition materials, everyone will be able to learn more about countering Russian aggression in the information war and manifestations of information resistance of Ukrainians in different periods of history: during and after the collapse of the Soviet Union, during the Revolution of Dignity and the Russian-Ukrainian war.

In the open air, the CHESNO Movement in cooperation with the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity has collected the most eloquent examples of Ukrainians’ information resistance to the Russian invaders. The exposition is placed on 7 street exhibition stands, which present postage stamps, murals, billboards and songs.

“Ukrainians were able to withstand not only at the front line, but also to give a worthy rebuff to Russian propaganda, so now Ukraine can count on international military and financial assistance. This exhibition has collected the most vivid examples of our nation’s struggle in culture that have already become part of history. More exhibits can always be viewed online in our virtual museum,” emphasizes Vita Dumanska, leader of the CHESNO Movement.

“Since the first days of the war, the information front has gone far beyond radio and television. Street art forms the context and culture that decides how society will perceive certain historical events, and, accordingly, who will win the war. After all, “art is a weapon, and culture is a form of resistance.” Therefore, our art of information resistance is the way to our victory,” says Olha Savenok, head of the educational and organizational department of the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.

The project has already been successfully presented in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Cherkasy.

The regional partner of the exhibition is the Khmelnytsky Regional Art Museum.

In Khmelnytskyi, the exhibition will run until May 28 at 47 Proskurivska Street.

In case of an air raid, the nearest shelters are located at the following addresses
