Biography
Born in 1952, Makiivka (Donetsk region). Painter. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1986). Member of the National Union of Artists (1979). He was awarded the First Prize of the Republican Exhibition (Kyiv, 1982). Graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (1977), creative workshops of the USSR Academy of Arts (1981). Teachers in the specialty: O. Lopukhov, S. Hryhoriev. He worked in the creative and production association “Khudozhnyk” (since 1981), taught at the Kyiv State Art Institute (1981-1992). He has participated in exhibitions since 1977. Since 1991, he has lived in the United States.
