Biography
Born in 1938, Bubniv (Cherkasy region). People’s Artist of Ukraine (1999). Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2000). Member of the National Union of Artists (1971). He was awarded the Order of Merit III degree (2007), Gold Medal of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2008). He graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (1965), teacher – V. Kasiian; creative workshops of the Academy of Arts (1965-1967), teacher – M. Derehus. Lecturer at the Kyiv Art and Industrial College (1967-1969), National Technical University of Ukraine (1991-2003), National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, since 2003 – Head of the Department of Graphic Arts.
