Biography
Born in 1909 in Yukhymivtsi (Khmelnytskyi region). Scenic artist, painter. Honored Worker of Arts of the Ukrainian SSR (1967). Laureate of the first festival “Ukraiinska teatralna vesna” (1958). Graduated from Odesa Art and Industrial School (1927), studied at the Kyiv Art Institute (1929-1932). His teachers were M. Bershtein, M. Kozyk, and M. Boichuk. Graduated from the Leningrad Academy of Arts (1940). Teachers: V. Yakovlieva, V. Sierov. Participant of exhibitions since 1961.
