Biography
Born in 1947, Vovchukhy (Lviv region). Graphic artist, restorer, scenographer. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2009). Honored Artist of Ukraine (2001). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1980). Graduated from Lviv School of Applied and Decorative Arts named after I. Trush (1968), Lviv Academy of Arts (2001). Teachers in the specialty: T. Drahan, L. Sytnyk, V. Trofymliuk. Initiator of the organization of professional restoration education in Lviv (opening of the departments of restoration at the Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after I. Trush and the Lviv National Academy of Arts). He worked as the director of the National Museum of Lviv (2001-2003). He has participated in exhibitions since 1971.
