Born in 1942, Talne (Cherkasy region). Painter, graphic artist. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1993). Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (1996). Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (1993). Doctor of Medicine (1986), Professor (1992) of the Department of General and Emergency Surgery of the Shupyk National Academy of Postgraduate Education. Member of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1988). State awards. Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute (1970).
