Biography
Born in 1935, Zhovtnevyi mine (Dnipro region). Painter, graphic artist. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2000). Member of the National Union of Artists (1968). He graduated from the Dnipro Art School (1956) and the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1964). Teachers in the specialty: M. Pohrebniak, R. Selskyi, K. Zvirynskyi, D. Dovboshynskyi, V. Manastyrskyi. He teaches at the Lviv Academy of Arts at the Department of Monumental Painting (since 1991), professor (1992). Participant of exhibitions since 1964.
