Biography
Born in 1914, Simferopol. Graphic artist. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1958). People’s Artist of Ukraine (2004). Honored Artist of the ARC (2004). Laureate of the State Prize of the ARC (1998). Participant of the Second World War. He studied in the Simferopol studio of M. Samokysh (1922-1930). Graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the All-Russian Academy of Arts (1937). Teachers in the specialty: V. Shukhaev, I. Brodskyi. Participated in exhibitions since 1935.
