Biography
Born in 1897, Vielizh (Smolensk region, russia). Painter. Participant of the Second World War. He graduated from the Myrhorod Art and Industrial School named after M. Hohol (1917) and the Kyiv Art Institute (1929). Teachers in the specialty: O. Slastion, M. Boichuk. Member of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (1929-1932). Participated in exhibitions since 1917. Arrested for “anti-popular activities” (1935), sentenced to 3 years in prison camps, rehabilitated (1999). He was awarded medals.
