Biography
Born in 1914, Vierkhnii Baskunchak (Astrakhan region, russia). Painter. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1968). Member of the Ukrainian Union of Artists (1947). Participant of the Second World War. He graduated from the Volgograd Art School (1938), Kharkiv Art Institute (1941) and Kyiv State Art Institute (1947). Teachers in the specialty: M. Samokysh, K. Trokhymenko. He taught at the Kyiv Institute, vice-rector (1966-1973), professor (1969). Candidate of Arts (1954). Participant of exhibitions since 1944. He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor and medals.
