Biography
Born in 1915, Starobilsk (Luhansk region). Painter, graphic artist. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1966). Member of the National Union of Artists (1943). Participant of the Second World War. He was awarded medals. Graduated from Kharkiv Art College (1938) and Kharkiv Art Institute (Samarkand, 1942). Teachers in the specialty: M. Kozyk, M. Samokysh, O. Kokel. He worked as the director of the Kharkiv Art School (1944-1947), taught at the Kharkiv State Art and Industrial Institute (since 1947), professor (1977). Participated in exhibitions since 1945.
