Biography
Born in 1939, Pervomaiske (Crimea). Painter. People’s Artist of Ukraine (1992). Full member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (1997). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1985). Member of the National Union of Artists (1968). He graduated from the Crimean Art School named after M. Samokysh (1959), Kyiv State Art Institute (1965) and creative workshops of the USSR Academy of Arts (1969). Teachers in the specialty: K. Trokhymenko, M. Pysanko, L. Chychkan, S. Hryhoriev. He taught at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (since 1969), professor (1987). Head of the Kyiv organization of the National Union of Artists (1997-2005). Participant of exhibitions since 1965.
