Biography
Born in 1916, Kharkiv. Graphic artist. Honored Worker of Culture of the Ukrainian SSR. Member of the Ukrainian Union of Artists (1950s). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize (1983). In Kharkiv, he studied at the Art Institute (1930-34), graduated from the Printing Institute (1939); teachers: V. Kasіian, I. Padalka. He worked at the Molod’ Publishing House (since 1952); chief artist (1959-1979). Head of the editorial office of experimental samples of book products of the State Committee for Publishing of the Ukrainian SSR (1980-1983).
