Biography
Born in 1910 in Ivanivtsi (Zakarpattia region). Painter, graphic artist, theater artist, teacher. People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1977). Member of the Ukrainian Union of Artists (1946). He received state awards of the USSR. Graduated from the Prague Higher School of Art and Industry (1934). His teacher was Zdeněk Kratochvíl. He taught at the Uzhhorod Craft School, Uzhhorod School of Applied Arts (1936-1955). Participant in exhibitions since 1933.
