Biography
Born in 1954, Penkivka (Vinnytsia region). Painter, master of folk art. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Member of the Vinnytsia Art Association “Soniakh” (1980). He graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Vinnytsia Pedagogical Institute and the Faculty of Painting of the Moscow People’s University of Arts (1979). He worked as a senior methodologist of the Vinnytsia Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Folk Art and Cultural Work, director of the Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Museum-Estate in Vinnytsia. He has been participating in exhibitions since 1978.
