Biography
Born in 1942, Krasnogvardeiskoie (Svierdlovsk region, russia). Painter, graphic artist, art critic. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1976). Graduated from the Lviv Polygraphic Institute named after I. Fedorov (1967), teachers: H. Khyzhniak, M. Ivanov; postgraduate studies at the All-Union Institute of Art History of the USSR Ministry of Culture (1974). Doctor of Philosophy (1993), Doctor of Art History, Professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Academician of the Academy of Humanities of Russia (1998). Participant of exhibitions since 1971.
