Biography
Born in 1940, Zolotonosha (Cherkasy region). Painter. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2004). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1973). Laureate of the Y. Bokshai and A. Erdeli Prize. He graduated from the Uzhhorod School of Applied Arts (1959), his teachers were V. Berets, I. Harapko, F. Manailo, S. Petki, V. Svyda. Graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1965). Teachers in the specialty: I. Severa, V. Manastyrskyi, I. Skobalo, M. Smyrnov. Participant of exhibitions since 1968.
