Biography
Born in 1913 in the village of Patskaniovo, Zakarpattia region. Sculptor. People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1973). Member of the Ukrainian Union of Artists (1946). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1957). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize (1983). State awards of the USSR. He graduated from the Art and Industrial School (Yasinia village, Zakarpattia region).
