Biography
Born in 1922 in the village of Petrykivka, Dnipro region. Master of Petrykivka painting. People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1977). Honored Master of Folk Art (1960). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1950) and the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine (1950). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2000). Laureate of the Kateryna Bilokur Prize (1990). She received state awards of the USSR, the Order of Princess Olha from the President of Ukraine (2007). Studied at the Petrykivka School of Decorative Painting (1936-1938). Graduated from the Moscow Correspondence University of Arts (1991). Participant of exhibitions since 1947.
