Biography
Born in 1930 in the village of Krutyi Bereh, Poltava region. Ceramic artist. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1961). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1982). People’s Artist of Ukraine (1996). Laureate of the K. Bilokur Prize (2004). Graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1959). Teachers in the specialty: I. Skobalo, I. Severa, V. Manastyrskyi. He was awarded the Great Silver (1962) and Bronze (1983) medals. Exhibitions of achievements of the national economy of the Ukrainian SSR. He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1975).
