Biography
Born in 1956 in Kyiv. Graphic artist. She studied at the Art and Industrial Technical School (now the Mykhailo Boychuk Kyiv State Academy), and at the Graphic Arts Department of the Ivan Fedorov Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute, Kyiv branch (now the Ukrainian Academy of Printing).
She has participated in the following exhibitions:
1984–1989 – the annual republican exhibition of illustration and book design “The Artist and the Book,” Kyiv;
1991 – Exhibition of Ukrainian Graphic Art, Turin, Italy;
1995 – “Bologna’95” International Children’s Book Fair, Bologna, Italy;
1996 – International Illustration Exhibition, Osaka, Japan.
Throughout the 1980s–2000s, she collaborated with the following publishers and magazines:
“Osvita,” “Veselka,” “Soviet School,” “Odnoklasnik,” “Genesis,” “Svit,” “Forum,” “Dnipro,” “Hraylik,” “Borysfen-S,” “Molod,” “Akonit,” “Ukrainian Ethnology,” “Ranok,” “Zodiac-ECO,” “Svenas,” “Pioneria,” and “Barvinok.”
1979–1982 – worked as an artist at the “Ukranimafilm” studio with renowned Ukrainian animation directors Volodymyr Goncharov and Iryna Gurvich (Kyiv).
2010s – collaborated with international advertising agencies, Kyiv.
Awards:
1984 – M. P. Trublaïni Award;
1986 – Recognized as the best in her profession for 1985 by the Trade Union Committee of Freelance Graphic Artists of Kyiv;
2000s – “Art of the Ukrainian Book” Award for a 7th-grade Ukrainian literature textbook.
