Scientific literature notes that language is the most important means of communication. Artists talk to viewers through works of art, which reflect not only what they see, but also their thoughts, impressions, and feelings. We cannot communicate many things with words. Perhaps that is why we sometimes hear expressions: “indescribable beauty”, “indescribable feelings”. What is so difficult to express can be conveyed in the language of art. Works of art have their own language and laws. Understanding them is as important as being able to write, count, and read.

So, we invite you to communicate with the artist Oksana Dashyvets!

Oksana Dashivets was born in 1980 in Svobodne village, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.

Until recently, she lived in Novoselivka village, Cherkasy UTC, Kramatorsk district.

She studied at the Slavic State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Primary School Teachers, Philology Department.

She is an art teacher at the Oleksandrivka Lyceum branch of the Cherkasy Village Council and the head of the fine arts studio at the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity.

Member of the folk amateur group of the Slavs club-studio.

Winner of the local government project competition in the category “Development of Children’s Creativity”.

Winner of the “Woman of Slavic Countries” contest in the nomination “Woman who has made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the district”, 2016.

Finalist of the second regional round of the all-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year 2020”.
