The NGO Syhnal Peremohy, with the support of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, the Department of Information, Culture, Nationalities and Religions of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, and the Khmelnytskyi Regional Art Museum, in close cooperation with contemporary Ukrainian artists, launched this charity project.

    The exhibition and sale of artworks aims to raise funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine. Both well-known and young artists – icon painters, portrait painters, landscape painters, and embroidery masters – joined our initiative without hesitation.

    After all, people of art, perhaps more than anyone else, subtly feel the pain of our country during the enemy invasion, the groaning of the soul of our long-suffering people and the strength of the patriotic spirit of our defenders, who every day, step by step, are fighting for every piece of our land, and thus our freedom and independence, from under the enemy boot.

The idea of holding charity exhibitions and sales in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dates back to 2016. Even then, artistic talents from all over Ukraine joined forces to help our military on the front lines of the ATO. We remember that the war has been going on for eight years!

Thus, on December 13, 2016, the exhibition was held at the Palace of Arts (Lviv), on December 31, 2016 – at the Harnizonna Church (Lviv), on January 9, 2017 – at Sviatoyurska Hora (Lviv), on February 14, 2017 – at the Lviv Regional Council, and on February 28, 2017 – in Chervonohrad, On May 29, 2017 – at the Ukrainian House (Kyiv), on August 11, 2017 – in Uzhhorod, on November 15, 2017 – at the Ivan Honchar Museum (Kyiv), on April 2, 2018 – in Dnipro, on July 12, 2018 – in Zaporizhzhia, on July 16, 2018 – in Orikhiv, on July 23, 2018 – in Melitopol, and on August 11, 2018 – in Polohy.

The name of today’s exhibition and sale “For Soldiers – From Artists” was borrowed from those times, as it really corresponds to the purpose of this charity event. We are grateful to everyone who did not stay away from our event: donated funds, made creative efforts or simply gave time and personal attention.
