Chronicles of the Free. Ukraine
Multimedia project
7 November 2024 - 8 December 2024

The project “Chronicles of the Free. Ukraine” project was born out of a keen desire to graphically document the facts of the strength and courage of our people. History shows that the will of Ukrainians cannot be broken by centuries of oppression and persecution. The nation’s code is an irresistible force that helps us to remain true Ukrainians, to love our native land above all else, to honor our history and culture.
We are strong in spirit, always strong, because we are Ukrainians, because we defend our dignity, independence, and sovereignty. My project is a story about each of us, about the unbearable pain when you want to shout to the whole world: “Stop the war!”. These are not just pictures; behind every stroke there is a real dramatic story that tells of murder, death, loss of family, friends, and homes…
What is freedom for you? And what is freedom for every Ukrainian? It doesn’t matter if you are in Ukraine or if you are forced to flee from the war to distant lands, you still want to return home.
Only in your native land do you want to live, raise children, work, create, and build the future. The future of a strong nation. The strength is Ukraine and its people.
The thematic focus of my works is on simple things that are the basis of everyday life and, at the same time, are an integral part of a complex existence… Experimentation is important to me. A unique combination of styles and techniques, a search for something new and extraordinary.
