The artist was born on April 30, 1964 in the village of Zinkiv in Khmelnytskyi region. She has lived in Dunaivtsi for most of her life. The main idea behind her work is the memory of her roots: her ancestors, the cradle of life, and the Ukrainian soul. Creating and sharing knowledge is a way to preserve the national identity we inherited. Oksana is an active participant in art events: she regularly takes part in the Holiday of Vytynanka in Mohyliv-Podilskyi (since 2008); she participates in International Symposia on vytynanka; she presented her works at the World Exhibition of Vytynanka in Tallinn (2013); in 2022, her vytynankas opened the festival of folk art in Tallinn; in 2024, she participated in the residency “Three Planes of Bar Ceramics”; more than 15 personal exhibitions, including three in 2024: two in Khmelnytskyi and one in Nova Ushytsia. The artist uses such techniques as vytynanka, plucking, Easter egg painting, scratching, egg decorating, egg mosaic, motanka doll, corncob doll, leather processing, patchwork, quilling, paintings (Samchykivka, Podillia), satin stitch embroidery.
