As part of the 8th TRANSLATORIUM Literary and Translation Festival, in partnership with The Ukrainians, the Frontera Literary Platform, and ZMIN Foundation, we are presenting an exhibition that treats Ukrainian landscapes as a space of memory, testimony, and hope.

The exhibition Amplification brings together twenty photographs of Ukrainian landscapes that have taken on threatening connotations. The project explores how our perception of nature changes in the context of war, colonial heritage, and ecological crisis. In the works of photographers, the landscape appears not as a background, but as a subject.

The exhibition is co-curated by Mykyta Moskaliuk, program manager of the Frontera Literary Platform, and Veronika Yadukha, curator of TRANSLATORIUM art projects.
